Belgian heavyweights, the avant-prog-jazz-rock combo, The Wrong Object, return with a potent studio release of classic instrumentation and sonic landscapes. Chocked full of heavy guitar riffs, extravagant jazz themes and electronic sounds and effects, this CD marks a revisit to the rockier and densely overdriven stance that characterized the band's earlier productions. A worthy follow-up to The Unbelievable Truth (their first MoonJune release), this music never sits still.The sheer sonic texture of this album is immense -- largely driven by a combination of tight prog-rock sequences, alternating with more open and freely-improvised portions.
