OUW028 : Gaëlle Choisne - Daniele Morelli / Arua

With ARUA, Gaëlle Choisne and Daniele Morelli open a portal of light for the heart and soul, offering a meditative and healing experience.

Their musical performance unfolds in a weave of glossolalic songs- commonly known as "speaking in tongues," (refers to the fluid utterance of speech-like syllables that lack intelligible meaning to the speaker or hearer, often associated with trance-like states. Expression directly to the soul and not the mental from Gaëlle Choisne, blending with Daniele Morelli’s psychedelic guitar to create a hypnotic ambient sound for souls in search of healing.

Through continuous live improvisation, the duo channels a spiritual call — an invitation to remain fully present, a meditative and deep healing moment to connect with one’s inner self.

They have performed a number of times in 2025 In:
WIELS Contemporary Art Centre – Brussels
LUMA Parc des Ateliers – Arles
SCUOLA PICCOLA ZATTERE – Venezia

Gaëlle Choisne (1985, FR) lives and works in Fougères (France) and Paris.

Sensitive to contemporary issues, Gaëlle Choisne's practice reflects the complexity of the world, its political and cultural disorder, whether it be the overexploitation of nature and its resources or the vestiges of colonial history, where esoteric Creole traditions, myths, and popular cultures intertwine. These ecosystems, pockets of "resistance," add a political dimension to the concept of love by paying homage to invisible bodies. A multidisciplinary artist, Choisne creates solo and collaborative projects at the crossroads of art, design, music, architecture, spirituality, and quantum science. There is a blurring of the lines between the mediums of sculpture, still and moving images in a loose and overflowing aesthetic. In 2024, Gaëlle

Choisne was awarded the Marcel Duchamp Prize.

Daniele Morelli lives between Mexico and Italy and has already released   7 albums of jazz guitar in solo, duo, trio and quartet on Off. He has also co composed the last album of Mexican pop rock star Lila Downs which was released last May 26.
